Husso Stops As Surging Blues Smack Canucks

VANCOUVER (AP)- Justin Faulk had a goal and an assist and the St. Louis Blues smack no.Louis defeated the undermanned Vancouver Canucks en route to a 3-1 victory Sunday.

Brayden Schenn, on a second power play, and Jordan Kyrou also homered for the Blues (25-11-5), while Vladimir Tarasenko recorded two assists.

Tanner Pearson scored the lone goal for the Canucks (18-19-4), who have six players and two assistant coaches in the NHL’s recent time protocol.

St. Louis got stellar goalie de ville Husso, who stopped 38-of-39 shots and has a .963 save percentage in his last five games.

Michael DiPietro made 14 saves in his season debut for Vancouver and became the fourth goaltender to play for the team this season.

The left winger was brought back by the recent time to play 5-0 against the Seattle Kraken on Friday at St.Louis, but was unable to cross the border with Canada because he had tested positive for the Virus in the last 10 days. … Sunday was the first time the two teams have played since Jan. 27, when the Canucks smack the Blues 3-1 in Vancouver.
